Rescued Overseas Animals to returning VETERANS

K9 SUPPORT DOGS and OVERSEAS ANIMAL RESCUE PROGRAMS (K9OAR)

The Marlee Foundation has donated funding for the purchase and training of multiple therapy dogs for returning veterans in cooperation with the Navy Seal Museum's K9 program.

In addition the Marlee Foundation donates to Paws of War, a charitable foundation in Nesconset, NY that also provides K9's to returning veterans. In addition Paws of War helps animals that have been rescued overseas by US military personnel to receive medical care and transportation home to their veteran rescuers in the US.

As we all know these recipients can benefit greatly from their new "friends" and thereby often redirect feelings of hopelessness.

At the Marlee Foundation we are committed to helping those who have made such a great sacrifice re-assimilate into the families that have been awaiting their return.  We are also committed to the well being of animals in a wide variety of ways.
