The Evan Henry Foundation for Autism is a nonprofit organization established in memory of Evan Henry. Evan was an 11 year old child from Norwell, Massachusetts diagnosed with autism an accidentally drowned in July, 2000. Evan's family and friends would like him to be remembered as a happy and loving child who taught others the true meaning of patience and compassion.
The EHFA helps fund programs an/or projects benefiting individuals with autism and their families. They also promote awareness and education through their annual road race, Evan's Run. |

Eunice Kennedy Shriver founded Special Olympics on the belief that individuals with intellectual disabilities could participate and excel in a variety of sports thereby improving their quality of life and that of their family member
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Massachusetts provides an inclusive space for athletes with intellectual disabilities to train and compete. Learn more about who we are. |
